Within two days of the death of her husband, David P. Belveal, Mrs. Frances Belveal died last Thursday at the home, two miles southwest of Hayesville. The funeral service for Mr. Belveal was held last Friday at the Hayesville community church, and the following day the funeral service for Mrs. Belveal was held at the Reynolds Funeral parlor here.
Mr. Belveal was buried in Pennington cemetery, while his wife was buried in East cemetery, Sigourney.
Mrs. Belveal, formerly Clara Frances Ford of Sigourney, was the second wife of the Hayesville man. They were married in 1917. The past few years Mrs. Belveal was an invalid, and during her husband's last days, her condition grew steadily worse until death.
Mr. Belveal is survived by four children by his first wife. They include James A. Belveal of Pekin, Ola McWilliams of Farson, Alice Morgan of Hedrick and George E. Belveal of Oskaloosa.
Mrs. Belveal's only near relative is a sister, Mrs. Neal Pratt.
