Bushnell-Marvin Neal Brewer 69,of Galesburg, IL died at 8:45 p.m. at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy. He was born July 1,1931 near Walnut Grove,to Jesse David and Irene Dalmar (Haffner)Brewer. He married Joyce LaVeta Worthington on Decemeber 8,1956,at the Presbyterian Church in Prairie City. She surivives. He is also survived by four sons, Major Kevin Neal(Gloria)Brewer,of Charleston,South Carolina,;Marvin Vincent(Denise)Brewer of Frisco, TX,;Tony Leon Brewer of Canton,IL and Justin David John(Jennifer)Brewer,of Cedar Rapids,Iowa, ten grandchildren; two brothers Lyndal Brewer of Harrison, Ark. and Keith Brewer of Bushnell; and two sister's Romona English of Marietta and Amy(Alma)Brooks of Bushnell. He was preceded in death by his parents;stepfather, Thorlo Oller and stepmother Lora James Brewer. Mr Brewer was reared in the Bushnell and Marietta areas, attended grade school and two years of high school in Bushnell,IL. He graduated from Cuba High School,Cuba,IL. and served four years in the USAF from 1950-1954. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was a truck driver for Meadow Gold Dairy in Galesburg for 27 years and retired due to poor health.
