Curtis Harlon Peery, 78, of Dresden, died Sunday March 2, 2003, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral services for Mr. Peery were held Thursday, March 6, 2003, at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Bro. Michael Simmons and Bro. Dale Mathis officiated the services.
Mr. Peery was a Retired Janitorial Supervisor at UTM in Martin, as well as a member of Olivet Methodist Church. He was born in Weakley County to the late Curtis Hansel and Mamie Summers Peery. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peery, was also preceded in death by his wife Rachel Elizabeth Miller Peery.
Mr. Peery is survived by four daughters, Judy Morris of Dresden, Brenda Kay Parish of Trezevant, TN., Sandra Latimer of Pacific, CA., and Elizabeth Ann Argo of Pawnee, OK.; a son, Danny D. Williams of Grove Point, OH; a brother, Dan Richard Peery of Nashville; and 12 grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren
