Services for R.J. "Robert" Cole, 76, of Dyer, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 8, at the Karnes and Sons Funeral Home with burial in Corinth Cemetery near Sharon.
Mr. Cole, a retired employee of Skil Corp. in Chicago, died Thursday morning, April 7, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bernice Cole; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Edwards of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Joyce Rohrer of Plainfield, Indiana; a son Rev. Dan Cole of Terre Haute, Indiana; a sister, Mrs. Opal Adams of Sharon; two brothers, Trevie Cole of Wood Dale, Ill. and Geraldean Cole of Collierville; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
