Frank was the 4th son and child born to Theresa (nee: Sedlatzeck) & David Anthony on 18 October 1889 in Jacksonville, Morgan Co., Illinois. His parents died when he was he was very young, in his mother's probate and guardianship records his Aunt Mary (nee:Sedlatzeck) & Charles took guardianship of them in 1896, then raised them as their own. Frank as his brother & many family members were steeped deep in the railroad industry; his family went from Gandy Dancers to railroad men in every level.
He had a lifelong struggle with consumption, which eventually took him from this world way too early. Frank was named after his Grandfather and his Uncle Frank Sedlatzeck and dearly loved by his family......He was tall, slender, grey eyes and dark brown hair; that too a family trait......
