---Esther Mae Saunders, 63, of the Hacienda Trailer Court, Highland, died Friday in a Santa Monica hospital. She was born in Washington and had been a resident of the San Bernardino area for the past 35 years. She was an employe at Patton State Hospital.
---Survivors include her husband, Sidney F., of Highland; a son, Sidney E., of Chula Vista, and a daughter Frances Saunders of Hawthorne.
---Private services were held yesterday at Pierce Brother's Mortuary in Inglewood. The family requests remembrances be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
