Floyd Elex "Cowboy" Ball Jr. 27, of Kenvir, Ky. Formerly of Liggett, Ky. Passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at his residence. He was born April 5, 1983 in Harlan, Ky. Cowboy was a truck driver having been employed by Taylor Trucking and a member of the Graysknob Church of God.
Survivors include his mother; Linda Bull Ball of Liggett, Ky. Wife of eight years; Donna Day Ball of Kenvir, Ky. One son; Christopher Cody Ball of Kenvir, Ky. Two step-daughters; Brooke White & Ashley White both of Kenvir, Ky. Two brothers; Randy Ball & wife Donna of Watts Creek, Ky. & Mike Ball of Cawood, Ky. One special nephew; Randy Ball Jr. 2 Special nieces; Amy & Ashley Ball. 3 Special cousins; Richard Gibson, David Bull & Tammy Maggard. Father-in-law; Bob Day of Coldiron, Ky. Mother-in-law; Betty Day of Kenvir, Ky. And several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 8:00 PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Dillard Stanley & Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Cemetery of Keith, Ky. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be; Richard Gibson, David Bull & Randy Ball
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
