Lester Irene Stephens, 89, of Suwanee died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1991. The funeral will be at 2 pm Friday at Buford Church of God. Burial will be in Peachtree Road Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Stephens was a charter member of the Buford Church of God and a homemaker. Survivors include daughters, Irene Everett, Elise Pitts, Martha Pitts, Carolyn Cantrell, and Betty Hamby; sons, Roy, Arnold, Howard, and Lamar Stephens; sisters, Mae Herrington and Odesa Samples; brothers, John and Lloyd Bullock; 30 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
