A graveside service for Elzie F. Langley, 87, who died Wednesday evening at Hawthorne Lodge Nursing Home, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

There is no visitation.

Beck Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born May 9, 1892, in McDaniels, Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie, 309 N. Center St.; three sons, Don, 309 N. Center St., and Gordon and LeRoy, both of Springfield; three daughters, Bess Glass, Bloomington; Mary Lou Langley, Springfield; and Goldie Langley, address not given; a brother, Paul, Springfield; five sisters, Ruby Johnson, Bess Klobnek, Julia Emmons, Pearl Schweppe and Eula Keating, addresses not given.

He was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers and one sister.

He was employed as a farm laborer. He formerly lived in rural Downs."
