He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the State of Tennessee Highway Department, a veteran of World War II, member of VFW Post 1618, and was a member of the Methodist Church. His parents were the late Bob Taylor and India Mae Craig McCrory.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Bailey McCrory, Summertown, TN; one daughter: Susan Craig McCrory, Summertown, TN; two sisters: Mrs. G. T. Stephens, Savannah, TN; Mary McCrory, Summertown, TN; three grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Saturday, October 26, 1996, at North Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Gobbell and Ricky Pitts officiating. Burial followed in the Summertown Cemetery. North Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
