Transferred from Co I to Co D, date not recorded. He mustered out on 10 Dec 1865 at Brownsville TX. He paid the government $6.00 to keep his rifle.

Olustee, Baker County, near Jacksonville, was the site of the largest and only major battle fought in Florida during the war. The famous "Colored Regiments" were among 10,000 troops who fought here.
