Born in Youngstown, Nov. 8, 1885, Mr. Shultz was a son of Sylvester and Eliza Ann Covert Shultz. He worked as a lap welder for the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. for 43 years. He was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church.
Besides his wife, the former Ethel Cyrus, Mr. Shultz leaves three sons, George C., Paul R., and John, all of Youngstown; three daughters, Mrs. Frederick Riddle, Mrs. Carl Runge Jr., both of Struthers, and Mrs. Leland Lipp of New Buffalo; five grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Louis Caspary and Mrs. Richard Duke, both of Youngstown.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Friday at the Shriver-Alli-South Side Funeral Home where friends may call Thursday evening.
