Louis Benda, 80, of Cedar Bluff, Iowa died Thursday at the home of his daughter Mrs. Wayne (Pauline) Tiss, in Minneapolis. As a young man he moved to Cedar Bluff and entered business. January 29, 1892, he married Mary E. Dodds, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. C. Dodds. In 1906 the family moved to Iowa City. He was a former Iowa City shoe and grocery store owner. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Aunt Minnie) and four children: Harold of Tama, Mrs. Ray

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Cedar Bluffs church, with Rev. H. N. Poston of the Tipton Presbyterian church officiating. Burial was in the West Cedar Bluff cemetery namely Evergreen.
