Betty Ann Lawrence of Mount Vernon, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2018. She was born Betty Ann Kinder on August 24, 1929 in Franklin County, Texas. She is the daughter of the late Bunice O. and Loyce (Cody) Kinder.

Betty was a devoted wife of 40 years to Clovis Lawrence. She worshiped and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Vernon.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Juadeen Shurbet of Winfield, Texas; nieces, Jill and her husband Jon Alexander of Tyler, Texas and Heidi and her husband Chad Wooten of Mount Vernon, Texas; nephew, Greg and his wife Barbara Shurbet of Mount Pleasant, Texas; great nieces, Katie Prescott, Sarah Weeks, Ellie Wooten, Mia Wooten; great nephews, William Alexander and Connor Cobern; great great nephew, Kyzer Prescott; and sisters-in-law, Lera Owens and Wilma Lou Daberko.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clovis Lawrence.

Funeral services for Betty will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 20, 2018 in the Chapel at Sam Harvey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Gray Rock Cemetery in Winfield, Texas. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 6:30 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
