He was employed by Champion International as a rewinder operator with 34 years of service before retiring in 1999 and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. He was a United States Navy veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre. Lenoir was a lover of all animals, enjoyed spending time with children, poetry and was an accomplished woodworker. He was loving and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
