Ronald T. Oakley, 51, of Burleson passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in Fort Worth.
Service: 11 a.m. Monday in Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth. Burial will follow in Cope Cemetery in Burleson. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Pallbearers are Brian Oakley, his cousin; Richard Nichols, his nephew; Bruce Shelton, his friend; Steve Peacock, his friend; Jon Tucker, his friend; Hector Cervantes, his friend; and Nathan Wilmot, his friend. Honarary pallbearers are Carl Oakley, his uncle, and Billy Patton, his friend.
He was born Feb. 13, 1959, to Sylvester Oakley and Lamae Brush at Harris Methodist of Fort Worth. After attending Burleson High School he enlisted in the Army. He retired from the Army with honors. He was a loving husband and father with family being the focus of his life.
He was predeceased by his father, Sylvester Oakley, and his mother, Lamae Brush.
