Ardmore, OK — Rodney Lamont Cohee, 36, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Fort Worth, Texas. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church of Ardmore with Reverend Ricky McGee officiating.
Interment will follow at Cobb Cemetery.
Rodney was born June 29, 1973, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Calvin Cohee and Wenda (Stevenson) Cohee.
Rodney attended Will Rogers Elementary School here in Ardmore and later the Lawton schools. He had been living and working in the Lawton area for several years. He will be remembered as a person that never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his son Marquis LaShon Brown.
Rodney is survived by both his parents, Calvin Cohee of Ardmore and Wenda Stevenson Cohee of Fort Worth, Texas; a special friend, Tawanna Richardson and their two children Tawann Richardson and Essence Richardson Cohee all of Lawton; two sisters, Monesha Cohee of Fort Worth and Alexis Stevenson of Ardmore; grandmother, Thressia Stevenson of Ardmore; parental grandmother Opal Cannady of Kansas City, Missouri; and a host of other family members and friends
Family members will serve as pall bearers.
