The Comrade, Sept. 23, 1910, Winnfield, LA

J. J. Stovall Dies.

Yesterday afternoon word was received that J. J. Stovall of Dodson had passed away. He suffered a stroke of apoplexy several days ago, but rallied and for a while hopes were entertained for his recovery, but he relapsed and sank steadily till the end was reached. He was prominent in business circles, being head of the firm of J. J. Stovall & Sons, merchants. He leaves a large family of sons and daughters, and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
