John Sidney Sage, 75, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Frankenmuth, Mich. and a member of the Wagoner, Okla. class of 1941 died February 14, 2000 in Kusidosi, Turkey while on vacation.

He was born in Red Fork, Okla. Nov. 3, 1922 to John Ira and Lydia (Reeves) Sage.

He married Georgia Elaine Duncan on Aug. 15, 1941.

During World War II, John served 4-1/2 years in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He retired from GM management, Fisher Coldwater Division in 1980.

Survivors include his wife, Dr. G. Elaine Sage; one son, Dr. Bobby D. and wife Jackie Sage; a daughter, Clella Kelly and Al Banks; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000 in Flint, Mich. with burial in Claremore, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Russell Sage and a daughter, Glenda Elaine Sage.
