Mary Everett Clemmer, 89, of Hewitt, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Hillcrest Hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Pat Cummings and the Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room.
Mary was born in Riesel, Texas, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Amanda Farrar. Mary has been a lifelong Baptist and a member of Patton Baptist Church in Valley Mills.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Brady Odell Everett; a brother, Cordell Farrar; and a grandson, Stephen Kyle Everett.
She is survived by her second husband, Lauson Clemmer, of Hewitt; sons, Brady Lynn Everett and wife, Linda, and Stephen Everett and wife, Cindy, all of Lorena; grandchildren, David Everett and wife, Julie, and Scott Everett, all of Hewitt, Kacie Henderson and husband, Shawn, of Lorena, and Christi Yourman and husband, Thomas, of Waco; eight great-grandchildren; two step-daughters; and a stepson; brothers, Parnell Farrar and wife, Larlene, of Greenville, and Ben Farrar and wife, Helen, of Axtell; sisters-in-law, Allice Hennig Farrar, and Marcene Everett, both of Waco, and Claudine Everett, of Gunbarrell, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
