Funeral services for Mrs. May Belle Brooks, 71, of 2313 McGuire will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Shannon Memorial Chapel, with burial in Rose Hill. She died Wednesday in a convalescent home.
The resident here since 1920 was a Baptist.
Survivors include three sons, William E., George D., and Charles A. Brooks; two daughters, Mmes. Alice Mae Moore and Dorothy Winters, and two brothers, Victor B. and Arthur Acers, all of Fort Worth and another brother, Maurice Acers of Austin; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren."
