Gustav resided near Frelsburg where he engaged in farming.He served on the church council for many years and also helped build the present church of which he was a lifelong member,the Trinity Lutheran Church in Frelsburg.He was baptized March 21,1868 at Frelsburg by Rev.Roehm,and April 8,1883,he was confirmed by Rev.Gerstmann.
Mr.Minssen passed away at the home of his son,Edwin Minssen,Friday morning.His home for the past 13 years.
Funeral services were held for Gustav Johann Fredrick Minssen,91,Sunday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Frelsburg the Rev.Milroy Gregor officiated.
