Age 85. Of Plainfield, died Thursday, Feb 11, 1988 at the Lakewood Living Center, Plainfield. She was born Nov. 3, 1902 in Minooka, IL.
Survived by one daughter, Nancy (Robert) Anderson of Plainfield, one granddaughter, Linda (Blair) Meyer of Willowbrook, IL, one grandson, Keith (Mimi) Anderson of Lexington, VA, one sister, Dorothy Bedford of Joliet, two sisters-in-laws, Margaret Dirst and Jane Dirst both of Minooka, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Clifton "Brownie" in '1954. She was a member of the Plainfield Congregational Church, the Idle Hour Club and a life member the Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 15 at the Oyerman-Jones Funeral Home, Plainfield, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bruce Sylvester officiating. Interment Plainfield Cemetery.
Visitation Sunday 2-5 and 7-9. Memorials to the Lakewood Van Fund or to her church.
