The 3rd of 4 children, Becca grew up in Memphis, TN. She was twice married & divorced; one of those marriages produced her only child, Michael Andrew Smith. She lived in Idaho Falls for most of the last decade of her life, including the last year or so of her mother's life.
I met Becca in the summer of 2006 at one of my then-favorite bars in Idaho Falls. Whenever I'd visit her at her apartment, she would make iced tea for us & we'd watch TV & movies together. From her I learned of the TV show "Kyle XY," whose 1st 2 seasons I have enjoyed watching ever since. One of her most prized possessions was a piano; once in a while I'd listen to her play it in return for her appreciation of my singing & guitar talents. Having sometimes expressed a desire to return to the Memphis area, she will soon be laid to rest there beside her mother.
