Lauren Josephine Weston, age 51, died Friday evening, January 30, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.

Lauren was born November 6, 1957 the daughter of Lawrence and Lucille(McCartney)Weston in Davenport, Iowa. She lived in the Zelpha Price Group Home for twelve years and worked for New Focus and Rubbermaid. The residents at the Group Homes were very dear to her and were a part of her extended family. She enjoyed music and loved to dance. Laugen had a great sense of humor and loved to tease. She brought joy and inspiration to the lives she touched.

She is survived by brothers, Russell S.(Shane)Weston of Davenport, Iowa, Albert(Marie)Colflesh of Davenport, Iowa; sisters, Georgia Colflesh of Overpark, Kansas, Mary Watson of Belton, Missouri; special aunts, Geneva Risher of Centerville, Iowa, Grace Swavley of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; uncles, Lonnie Risher of Centerville, Iowa, and Ronnie Risher of St. Louis, Missouri; nephews, Isac Watson of Belton, Missouri, Cameron Watson of Kansas City, Missouri; and a niece, Candis Watson of Lucerne, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Wednesday afternoon February 4, 2009 at the Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Pastor Joe Hayes and Father Dennis Schaab officiating. Friends may call all day Tuesday at the Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery, Glenwood, MO. A memorial has been established to the Centerville Group Homes or New Focus Inc. and may be left at the funeral home.
