CHICAGO, Ill. -- The graveside service for John Henry Manley Jr. 70, will be at 2 p.m. today at Elmwood Cemetery, Town Creek, Ala., with Dr. Tom Whatley officiating. Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, Ala., is directing.
He died Sunday, July 18, 1993, at Wise Memorial Hospital, Chicago.
He was a native of Lawrence County, Ala., and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include a son, John Manley III, Milwaukee, Wis.; daughter, Beth Manley, Milwaukee; brothers, C.T. Manley, Leighton, Ala., Jack Manley, Rogersville, Ala.; sisters, Margaret Young, Sheffield, Ala., Emma Belle McConnell, Florence, Ala.; two grandchildren.
