Otto Deitrich celebrated his 93rd birthday with a game of dominoes. He moved to Olney in 1901 and farmed until his retirement.

He was married to Ottillie Hausler.

A retired farmer, Deitrick was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survived by one son - Ed Deitrich of Olney; one daughter - Mrs. Charles "Frieda" Kunkel of Olney; eight grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Otto Deitrich admits to losing about half the domino games he plays, but his opponents are much younger.

The first St. Luke's Lutheran Church at Olney was built in 1914 on land donated by Otto Deitrich.
