FUNERAL SERVICES THIS AFTERNOON FOR JONAS WEIKER
Funeral services for Jonas Weiker, 82, retired farmer and life-long resident of Adams township, were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at St. Jacob's church. Rev. E.C. Sult, pastor of the church, officiated and interment was made in adjacent cemetery.
Mr. Weiker suffered a stroke Wednesday and passed away Sunday at his home southeast of the village.
The deceased was the son of Joseph and Nancy Hawkins Weiker and was born August 14, 1856, at the place where he passed away. He never married.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Hannah Drischer of Free Saw, Mich., and a brother Emanuel Weiker of Adams township.
