Ethel Lynne Williams Bridgeforth
Grand Haven, Mich.

Ethel Lynne Williams-Bridgeforth, age 72, of Grand Haven, Mich., passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010, at home. She was born on August 12, 1937, to the late Rev. Jimmie and Larlie (Cooper) Williams in Morgan County. After graduating high school, Lynne served her country in the U.S. Army and Air Force. She then married James Bridgeforth. Lynne was employed by Crown Steel of West Bloomfield, Mich.

She is survived by her sons, Yancey D. Bridgeforth and Keith B. (Lisa) Bridgeforth, both of Grand Haven; grandchildren: Shirl, Lauren, Lynda, Kellum and Jaden Bridgeforth; great-grandchild, Andreuna Harris; sisters, Geraldine B. Lockwood (Willie) of Detroit, Elizabeth A. Bazemore of Lakewood, Wash., Lynne J. Collier of Hillsboro and Harriette F. Williams of Decatur; and brothers, Jimmie Williams (Maxine) Jr. of Detroit, McRay A. Williams, Leon C. Williams (Bridget) and Robert J. Williams, all of Decatur, George R. Williams of Atlanta, Ga., and Roy B. Williams of Detroit. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Willie, Julia, Mary and Charles.

The service for Lynne was Thursday at 11:30 a.m., May 6, 2010, at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sterrs Cemetery in Decatur.
