Mr. Charles (Charlie) Donald (Donnie) Tankersley Sr. of Sharpsburg passed away Friday, June 6, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Pam Tankersley of Sharpsburg; sons Matthew Paul Dietz and his wife Jennifer of King George, Va.; Zachary Jordan Tankersley of Sharpsburg, Ethan Jerimiah Tankersley of Sharpsburg, Charles Donald Tankersley, Jr. of Grovetown, William Matthew Tankersley of Hephzibah; sisters Dina Cole and her husband Rick of OR, Deborah Tankersley of Jacksonville; grandchildren Brayden Carter Dietz and Makenzie Sophia Dietz; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Orr officiating. Interment at Temple Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Statesboro, Ga., Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 3 p.m. with remains placed instate at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4 until 6 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home in Fairburn
