Funeral for Beatrice Earline McCurley, 83, of Hartselle will be Friday, May 7, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Greenbriar Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Lowery and the Rev. David Gamble officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Madison Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.

Mrs. McCurley, who died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, after an extended illness, was born October 2, 1926 in Tishomingo, Miss. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Hartselle. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Austin and Clara McDonald; four brothers, Houston Lambert, David Lambert, Woodrow Lambert, and R.C. Lambert. She is survived by her husband, Robert F. McCurley; two sons, Steven McCurley and Timothy (Sandra) McCurley all of Hartselle; four grandchildren, Michelle (Matt) Holmes of Danville, Marsha (Terry) Bowden, Whit McCurley, and Ashlea McCurley all of Hartselle; four great-grandchildren, Kaithlyn and Kylee Holmes both of Danville, and Carter and Drake Borden of Hartselle.

Pallbearers will be Whit McCurley, Terry Borden, Matt Holmes, Gene Marsh, Billy Aaron, and Don Robbins. Special thanks to Brooke Bevis, RN with Alacare Home Health Hospice in Decatur who helped care for Mrs. McCurley. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Alacare Home Health and Hospice in Decatur.
