Florence Dexter Druehl, 82 years old of Union Grove, Wisconsin, formerly of Trevor, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2001 at the Oak Ridge Care Center, Union Grove, WI. She was born September 29, 1918 in Antioch, IL., the daughter of the late George and Anna (Whitten) Dunford. She graduated from Antioch High School and lived most of her life in the Trevor area. Florence was the Postmaster for the Trevor Post Office for 34 years. Her memberships included the Wisconsin Post Master's Association of which she was a past president, the National Post Masters Association, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and active with other post office activities, the A.A.R.P. and the United Methodist Church of Antioch, IL. Florence loved music and was an avid musician playing several instruments.
    Survivors include her son Charles E. (Karen) Dexter of Burlington, WI., a brother Kenneth Dunford of Union Grove, WI., 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Clarence, Edward, George, Lawrence and John and 3 sisters, Liz, Elsie and Mitzie.
    Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 22, 2001 at the United Methodist Church of Antioch, 848 Main St. (Rte 83), Antioch, IL. with Pastor Gary L. Curl officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery, Salem, WI. Friends may call at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME, 1055 Main Street (Rte 83) Antioch, IL. from 4 until 7 P.M. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Methodist Church of Antioch, in her memory.
