James Rush
Born in Virginia in 1770, he came with his parents at 4 yrs. old to Clarksville Pa. where he remained until his death in 1842. He married Priscilla Case, who was a native of Greene Co. departed this life 1825. They were the parents of nine children, eight daughters and one son. Daughter Sarah A. married Fletcher Allman and acquired much of the family land. Daughter Miss Priscilla Rush lives with her nephew Fletcher Allman.
