James Funderburk, 82, died Monday, May 3, 2010, at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth, MS.

He was Born August 7, 1927, in Itawamba County, MS.

He was a former Steel Worker.

He was Veteran in World War II a POW, MIA and Recipient of the Purple Heart.

Services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday at Holly Springs Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Cook Officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery.

Survivors include his Wife, Mary Swinford Funderburk of Michigan City; two Sons, Billy Page of Millington, TN; and Carlos Gray of Falkner; six Daughters, Vanessa Funderburk of Moscow, TN; Latisha Chopin, Joyce Nauer of Albany, LA; Jeanie Grashot of Munford, TN; Offie Funderburk of Memphis and Bonnie Mejia of Michigan City; three Brothers, Clem Funderburk of Bartlett, TN; and Delbert Funderburk and Coyle Wayne Funderburk of Bobo; six Sisters, Eva Caples of Clarksdale; Eleanor Funderburk Collinger of Dillsburg, PA; Cleta Mae Harris of Florida; Betty Ann Brooks of Crestview; Linda Walker of Cleveland and Inez Littrell of Batesville; 17 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Clete Funderburk and Offie Rogers; and five Grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 P.M. today at the Funeral Home.
