She was born on Dec. 15, 1913, in the town of Ruby to Arthur W. and Alma E. (Pugh) Crawford. She married John Svoma on April 21, 1931, in Cornell. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on their farm. She also worked as a cook for Town of Ruby School. She was a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge, former member of the Friendship and Homemaker Club in the town of Ruby, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cornell.
Letitia enjoyed writing, poetry, baking and decorating cakes, sewing, embroidery and crafts.
She is survived by one son, Donald (Joan) Svoma of Waukesha, Wis.; one daughter, Betty (Robert) Chodan of Loveland, Colo.; one brother, Robert Crawford of Edgerton, Wis.; four sisters, Viola McCann of Cornell, Loretta Goltz of Cornell, Helen Goltz of Holcombe, and Beulah Crawford of Baraboo, Wis.; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John, in 1991; a daughter, Sharon Svoma; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Cornell with the Rev. George Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery in the town of Arthur.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
