Elijah S. Blanton, about 80 years of age, died at his home in Tishomingo, Okla., Sunday morning. The burial service was held at the Blanton Cemetery, east of town, Tuesday afternoon with Rev. C. W. Dennis, pastor of the Methodist Church, in charge. Mr. Blanton is survived by his aged wife and several children. He resided in this section a number of years ago: For more than thirty years he made his home in Oklahoma. He was a brother of Mrs. B. F. Blanton of this city.
