IVAN K. ROBERTS

Ivan K. Roberts, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, an employee of Standard Oil Co., until he retirement and a Cedar Rapids resident for 19 years, died of a heart attack Friday following an auto accident.

Born Sept. 8, 1899, in Lucas County, Iowa, he was married to Elva Dean on Dec. 1, 1920, at Albia.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Kluck of Marshalltown; two sons, Maj. Howard Dean Roberts, in the Air Force at Lubbock, Texas, and Herbert Alan Roberts of Marshalltown; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Stewart and Juanita Yocom, both of Des Moines.

Mr. Roberts was a member of the Kenwood Methodist church and Mizpah Lodge A.F. & A.M.

Memorial services were held at the Turner Chapel by the Rev. Bernard Olson and Mizpah Lodge. Burial was in the Chariton cemetery where graveside services were conducted.
