Charles M. Harrison Sr., 69, of Rushville, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006 at Crestview Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.

Charles was born Dec. 29, 1936, in Columbus, to Joseph and Julia (Kumpf) Harrison.

He was the owner of Harrison Electric and member of the amateur radio club with the handle #KB80TL.

Charles is survived by his wife of 32 years, Velma; children, Patty (David) Randolph of Lancaster, Cheryl (Carlos) Riley of Rushville; Sara (Kurt) Wall of Marysville, Harry (Debra) Wyman of Virginia, Mellody Lottridge of Columbus, Jodi (John) Groves of Lancaster, Jennifer (Ronnie) Chapman of West Virginia, Charlin (David) Blount of Virginia and Charles (Lisa) Harrison Jr. of Lancaster; 36 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; sisters, Grace (Bob) Neal of West Jefferson and Sara Kaufman of London; and special friends, Julia Konkler and Penny and Bill Speyrer.

He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Edward Harrison; grandchildren, Sonia marie Wall and Ronnie Chapman; and a sister, Betty Stapleton.

Interment at Knollwood Cemetery in Logan.
