Barbara H. Shaw, 67, of Marysville died Saturday, March 27, 2004, at Memorial Hospital of Union County surrounded by her family after an extended illness with emphysema.

A homemaker, she was an avid crossword puzzle work and enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren.

She was born April 29,1936, in Columbus to the late John E. and Madge-Messer Parrott and was predeceased by two sons, Charles Harrison and Kenneth Shaw; a granddaughter, Sonia Wall; a son-in-law, Michael Schall; and three sisters, Ern, Sis and Vernie. She was married to Charles Harrison of Rushville and Edward Shaw and was pre-deceased by Shaw.

She is survived by her children, Sara (Kurt) Wall of Raymond, Linda (Jerry Pyett) Schall of Columbus, Wanda (Todd) Michael of Bellefontaine, Tina (Steve) Kerns of Marysville and Lisa Shaw of West Mansfield; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Liz Springer of Whitehall, Gladys (Greg) Shirin of Westerville and Marie Deyo and Jean (Merrill) Edwards of Columbus; four brothers, Jim (Millie) Parrott of Raymond, Henry (Donna) Parrott of Maryland and Eck (Wanda) Parrott and Harry Parrott of Columbus.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ingram Funeral home. The Rev. Keith Matthews will officiate and burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
