Obit: Henry D. Abernathy rites at Old Field. Funeral for Henry D. Abernathy, 44, of Lawrenceville, Route 1, were held Tuesday at Old Field Baptist Church. He died Sept. 16. Rev. Rowe Bagley officiated, and burial was in the churchyard. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Marvene Burell Abernathy; four children, Myron, Glenn, Martha Anne and Loretta; three sisters, Mrs. Bartow Parker, Mrs. Hoyt Morris, and Mrs. Jack Casey; two brothers, John and Dannie Abernathy.
