Mrs. Daisy Viola James, 90, of Albany, died Sunday in Turner County Hospital at Ashburn. A native of Worth County, she was the former Miss Daisy Viola Aultman, daughter of the late Jim and Rilla Spring Aultman. She had resided in Albany for 18 years. Mrs. James was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Connell of Albany, and Mrs. Jewell Pate of Thomaston; and 2 sons, Bertram James of Cordele and Aultman James of Vienna.
Funeral services were to be held at 3 p.m. today at Ebenezer Baptist Church and burial was to follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. Dekle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (Obituary courtesy of Dale and Eddie Aschenbach)
