Has been practicing law here for over 40 years, died at his home 132 N. 6th St. about 11 p.m. Saturday following a heart attack. Services will be held at 11 am today 03/28/1955 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Weber 70, recently had been instructing Mayor-President Jesse Webb Jr. for the bar, and was planning to go to New Orleans with Webb Wednesday, when the mayor will take his oath. He was a member of the first class at the LSU law school, and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1908. Also, while at LSU, he was a three-letter man, lettering in baseball, track and basketball. He was one of the few Louisiana lawyers, who held a master of civil laws degree. Weber was a charter memeber of Nicholson Post No. 38 American Legion, VFE. Fraternal Order of Police, and state and local bar associations. He was a captain in World War I. Nicholson Post will conduct military graveside rights. Surviving him are his wife, former Edna McCallum, two daughters, Constance amd Suzanne Weber, Baton Rouge; one sister Lillie Darracott, New Orleans, and numberous nieces and nephews.
