FORT WAYNE -- Thelma J. Holley, 62, 408 W. Main St., died at 11:08 a.m. Friday at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, after a three-week illness. She was born Sept. 15, 1928 in Wabash County to Delbert and Hattie (Smith) Bowman. She married Charles J. Holley on Aug. 9, 1947; he died April 7, 1974.
A lifelong Wabash County resident, Mrs. Holley was a cook at the Rock City Cafe, a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Holley, Logansport, and Steve Holley, RR2; three sisters, Sharon Lyndzy, Silver Lake, Frances Sutton, North Manchester, and Jane Noonan, Florrissant, Mo., and four grandchildren.
