Edward R. Stoker, 84, of Robeline, died at his home on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 9:20 a.m., following a short illness.Stoker is survived by two sons, Judge Jimmy M. Stoker of Alexandria; and Joe T. Stoker of Houston; one brother, Evie T. Stoker of Robeline; two sisters, Vera Stoker, and Mrs. Oleta S. Jackson, both of Robeline; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 28, at 2:30 p.m., in the Ft. Jesup Baptist Church. The Rev. Loyd Sowers, and the Rev. Earl Marr officiated. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.Pallbearers were A. J. Smith, Don Stoker, Corley J. Jackson, Byron Stoker, Billy Jack Stoker, and Randy Stoker.
