Widely Known Aged Resident of The County
Passed Away Sunday Evening
At His Country Home Near Flat Rock

John Allen Williams, aged eighty years, five months and sixteen days, one of the prominent aged residents of the county, died at eleven o'clock Sunday evening at his home one and one half miles east of Flat Rock [Washington Township]. Death was caused by paralysis and followed an illness of several months. He had a relapse a week ago and his death was expected for the past two days.

Mr. Williams was a farmer. He was born in this county and spent all of his life in the vicinity of Flat Rock. He was a member of the Flat Rock M.E. Church.

He leaves three daughters and three sons: Mrs. Elbert Oltman, of this city; Mrs. L. M. Hyatt, of near Flat Rock; Miss Dora Williams, who lived at home; Elmer, of Indianapolis; Henry M., of Bagneall, Michigan and Edward, of Norristown.

The funeral services will be held at ten o'clock Wednesday morning at the Flat Rock M.E. Church.
