She was born February 9, 1938 in Newport.
She is preceded in death by her father, Albert George Cathey and her mother, Hilda Beatrice Bradley Cathey of Newport.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years; Bobby Joe Hutchinson whom she wed on December 24, 1956. She was the mother of Debbie Heck and husband, Daniel, Becky Burnside and husband Thomas, and Jody Hutchinson. She also had seven grandchildren, Candace Christopher, Kimberly Smith, Gregory Lynn Smith, II, T. J. Burnside, Colton Burnside, Bo Hutchinson and Grace Hutchinson. She had two great grandchildren, Dakota Christopher and Naomi Christopher. She has two sisters, Barbara Hagar of Bentonville and Juanita (Teet) Cathey of Newport and two brothers, Albert Cathey (Junior) of Newport and James Dillehay of Jonesboro. She had several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Newport. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her home, gardening, fishing and working games and puzzles among many other things.
Graveside services were held at Watson Cemetery.
Pallbearers were; T.J. Burnside, Colton Burnside, Gregory Smith, Bo Hutchinson, Bronson Cathey and Dennis Hagar.
