Per history of Columbiana Co - Jacob Rupert noted to be a soldier of war of 1812.

Stone reads Jacob Rupert Died July 4, 1834 aged 44 years old. Stone is next to Rebecca Snook Rupert, wife. Old Records taken from cemetery transcriptions by Henry Baldwin in 1908 note a (Flag of War of 1812). This flag is not present today, but worth noting. Stone is very worn and difficult to read 2001.

Rebecca Snook Rupert, widow of Jacob Rupert owned this plat consisting of 158 acres of land shown on 1870 Unity Twp Map. Photo of house taken Nov 2010 - Location on Macklin Rd south of St Rt 14 near Metz Road.

He had a son Adam Rupert who died of illness while serving in civil war - buried in Washington D.C.

Property to west per map - son Jacob Rupert, Isaac Emerson Heck.

June 1, 2012 - Family group sheet written by Don Rupert and in keeping of Lulu Bierman circa 1991 - states:
Jacob Rupert birth July 4, 1790 married Dec 17, 1816 to Rebecca Snook - served in War of 1812, Died July 4, 1834 - Addicental death at barn raising. Burial Unity Brick

This was the same farm that Hattie Rupert Snyder lived her life.
