From the biography of Lucy's mother, Leah (Lewis) Simmons, at F-A-G #144912892:

"Leah Lewis was born on 7 May 1787 in New Ashford, Windham, Massachusetts. Her parents, Gideon Lewis and Sarah Card were both born in Washington County, Rhode Island, and her ancestors were early colonists of Rhode Island. At the age of 18 she married Samuel Simmons from Cheshire, Berkshire, Massachusetts, a town about 5 ½ miles away, with a few streams between them. They married in her hometown on 3 Nov 1805. They had two daughters before he died in 1809."

From the above:
+ Lucy's parents were married Nov 3, 1805
+ Lucy has one sister born during or before 1809
+ Lucy's father Samuel Simmons died in 1809

Lucy's sister is not included in the step-siblings linked below who were born between 1813 and 1827.

Massachusetts Marriages (1865-1910) confirms Samuel Simmons and Lear Lewis were married Nov 16, 1805 but the record is no longer accessible.

Since Samuel Simmons died in 1809, only four years after marriage to Leah (Lewis) Simmons, Samuel is most likely buried in MA and very likely in Cheshire, Berkshire County, MA where he was born or New Ashford, Windham County, MA where his wife was born. These two cities are only 5 1/2 miles apart.
