Funeral services for Floyd Waford, 95, of Fort Gibson, OK, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson with Reverend Don Landers officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service. Mr. Waford was born February 27, 1915 at Eldon, OK the son of Adam M. and Mary E. (Farmer) Waford and died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Tahlequah. He was a retired welder and member of Community Gospel Church. Survivors include his son, Macy Waford and wife, Juanita, of Salinas, CA; daughter, Michele Mize of Felton, CA; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; sister, Lois Wardlow of Modesto, CA; and brother, Adam Livonne "Sandy" Waford of Fort Gibson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alberta in 2005, three daughters; one sister and one brother.
