Franklin Davison Garrett, age 75, left his earthly body to be with the Lord on May 2, 2010. Frank was the youngest of 12 children born to Austin Audley and Lavada Aurora (Davison) Garrett on December 12, 1934 on the family farm at Cameron, LeFlore County, Oklahoma, during the midst of the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl of Oklahoma.

Frank was saved at age 16 at First Baptist Church in Howe, Oklahoma, and lived his life as a faithful follower of Christ. Upon graduation from Howe High School in 1953, Frank joined the U. S. Army. He served six years with an Engineering Battalion stationed in Korea and Eniwetok Atoll, Marshall Islands during testing of the atom bomb.

Frank married Beulah Ann Garroutte on January 17, 1959 and later settled in Tulsa. Together they raised their only son. Frank spent much of his career as a roll operator for CE Natco and later with Maloney-Crawford and Slagle Manufacturing.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years; one son and his wife; two granddaughters; one brother, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Hazel and six brothers, Olen, Ulyss, Elton, Preston, Dale and Earl, along with three infant brothers.

The family expresses sincere gratitude to Hope Hospice, especially Melissa, Deborah and Tina.

Funeral services will be conducted at Mobley-Dodson Chapel on Thursday, May 6, 2010, 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Troy Hayes officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mobley-Dodson. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park, Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
